Neal Jackson's Shadow PAC

UPDATE

Republicans for Jackson is now listed on the state's campaign finance website. However, the committee lists no contributions or expenditures. The committee was probably formed after the last reporting deadline, therefore allowing it's controllers to send mailers without the chance for the public to know who funded them until after the eclection. The committee chair is David G. Smith, the unknown Republican who is mentioned in the post above this one.

Not only is Neal Jackson ethically challenged but so are his financial/political benefactors.

Today I received this mailer titled "Republicans Support Jackson"

If you look up Republicans for Jackson in the Maryland State Board of Elections campaign finance database you will see no such committee is listed on it's list of registered PACS

However, note the mailer's authority line: "Republicans for Jackson, Sherry Adam Treasurer" and the 1636 Ruthsburg Rd, Centreville, MD address.

Sherry Adam just happens to also be the treasurer for the Republican Environmental Alliance PAC, formerly chaired by QACA chief Jay Falstad.

Thanks to our reporting on his illegal activity, Jay was forced resignas chair of that PAC. At least Jay has that sweetheart mortgage from anti-growth money man Alan Griffith.

What this unregistered PAC means by "Republicans for Jackson" is in reality Jay Falstad for Neal Jackson.

  1. Has this been reported to the State
    Board of Elections?

WHY can't Jay Falstad follow the rules of PACs- he seems politically inexperienced, or perhaps just stupid or incompetent- how can QACA justify paying him over $100K a year for this shoddy work?

I was planning to vote for Jackson, and he's just lost my vote. It's good I didn't vote early.

  2. Now, isn't that sweet?

Jay Falstad is involved once again and again over his head. He is a salaried employee, rumored to be paid more than $110,000 a year. These are freshman, novice actions, huh? Shameful and pathetic--guess he impresses the Board of Directors on QACA much more than the citizens of the County. Hope it has been reported to the State Board of Elections, resulting in a huge fine. Hope they fry old Jay and shame on Sherry, too. She is from Ruthsburg and should have known better with all the expert experience she gained and gave on how to fight FASTC. Seems like they both are academically challenged . . .

  3. I think if you checked with the State you'd find the Rep's for Jackson PAC has been registered . . . the State website list of PAC's is out of date, and the spreadsheet you posted was last modified on April 5th!

  4. Anyone who knows Sherry Adams knows she and her family are on every state assisted program available! She will put her name on anything for a couple of dollars!

  5. Now its our turn. And when I say our turn, I mean the people of QA Co. who work hard everyday to feed their families. These people could care less about you or your livelyhood. If they had they're way you wouldn't even be allowed to move into the neighborhood. Keep a close eye on these idiots, they will do anything they can to de-rail our new Commissioners. I assume they are already lining up in the courts to start filing law suits again.
